Vintage 4 drawers and 1 door chest 1960

Beautiful chest of drawers on spindle legs, 1960s. The piece is made of wood, with a blond oak veneer. The chest has 4 drawers that open and close properly. The inside of each drawer is very clean (see pictures), and there is a practical side storage with a central shelf for extra storage, supplied with its original key which works perfectly. The tapered legs add height and ensure elegance and lightness. The 4 legs are removable. The 2 front legs have their original brass end caps. The front presents 4 chamfered drawers which have their original brass handles. The sharp-edged side panels bring dynamism and originality to the whole. Finally, the colour of the wood has a warm, shiny, golden brown tint and will attract any eye in an entrance, bedroom or living room. The chest of drawers is stable and sturdy and the drawers are all functional. The cupboard door opens and closes easily. The top surface is smooth and elegant, with minute traces of use. The piece remains in very good original condition. Note, in the lower right corner of the top drawer, tiny notches on the lower edge and on the front of the bottom drawer, the color has a faded area (see photos.) , on the left, back side of the chest of drawers, there are 4 small notches, and lacks tiny pieces of veneer (see photos). The piece has been delicately dusted and the surface polished, to keep the rich and original patina. Dimensions for each drawer: 59 cm wide X 37.5 deep. Dimensions of the cabinet: 41.5 cm wide X 40.5 deep. This vintage item has no defect, but it may show slight traces of use. Patina in accordance with age and use.
