Pair of vintage black leather armchairs by Wilkhahn Delta 2000

This pair of Wilkhahn Delta 2000 low-backed armchairs of the first generation, with partially leather-covered armrests in a deep black leather tone, in brushed aluminium and with black shells, is in excellent condition. The leather is flawless, the plastic shells as well as the aluminium feet show only minimal signs of use. The chairs are both swivel chairs. The Delta 2000 model was designed by the Delta Group in 1968. It is a classic from the 1960s and can be used as an office, conference or dining room chair. Price per set. Wilkhahn was founded as a chair factory by Friedrich Hahne and Christian Wilkening more than 100 years ago. In 1946, contacts were established with the Deutsche Werkstätten with designers Georg Leowald and Herbert Hirche, who worked in the Bauhaus tradition. Since then, Wilkhahn has been one of the leading manufacturers of office furniture.
