Vintage office chair by Mart Stam for Fritz Hansen, Denmark 1930s

A very nice, rare office side chair designed by Mart Stam for Fritz Hansen in Denmark. It has a tubular, chrome plated metal frame in a nice bent shape. The seat has a floating structure, adding to the comfort and style of the piece. The style has a sense of Bauhaus, the chair would fit very nicely in many different kind of interiors. The seat and back are both upholstered in black skai (faux leather), matching perfectly to the clean metal frame. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Seating height: 44cm
