Large vintage Taraxacum 88 S2 hanging lamp by Achille Castiglioni for Flos 1988

Large Taraxacum 88 S2 hanging lamp designed in 1988 by Achille Castiglioni for Flos and made in the early 2000s. The Taracaxum 88 S2 is inspired by a dandelion. This is reflected in the form and in the name. The glass balls of the Flos Taraxacum resemble the fluffy fruits of this plant. This gives this lamp an airy appearance. Due to the 120 light sources this pendant creates a nice diffuse light due. The Taraxacum 88 S2 is the largest in the Taraxacum collection. The sphere is made of polished aluminum triangles and the reflective surface also creates a beautiful light. The dimensions (with light bulbs) h x d 105 x 105 cm. The weight without the light bulbs is 14.2 kg. This lamp comes with 120 globe Airam longlife light bulbs (as in the photo) E27 220 V 25W 179 lumens. Max 28W per bulb holder.
