Vintage Lounge chair and pouffe set model ML-91by Illum Wikkelsø, Danish 1960

This comfortable chair ML-91 is clearly recognizable as a design by Illum Wikkelso. This chair was manufactured in the mid-60s by the Michael Laursen factory. A rather unconventional design with solid teak legs that cross over each other and support the back, which makes it really nervous. This lounge chair has been re-upholstered by a professional upholsterer in a quality wool from Ploeg, Andes KL.08, with all the fabric knitting lines retained as the Wikkelso design intended. The Andes KL.08 is a 100 wool with a wear resistance of 45000 Martindale revolutions. This chair with ottoman is in excellent vintage condition. Furnip took the matching sofa (ML-90).
