Executive Rosewood Norwegian Desk by Torbjorn Afdal for Haug Snekkeri AS Bruksbo, 1960s

This executive elegant desk was designed in Norway by Torbjørn Afdal in the early 1960s. The desk was manufactured by Haug Snekkeri AS Tomter for Bruksbo Tegnekontor. It was finished in Jacaranda Brazilian rosewood with regular grain. This model has large archive or folder drawer on the right side and three drawers with oblong handles on the left side. The drawers have been panelled in elegant billiard fabric inside. The back was finished in wood also, so the desk can be a central element at the interior. Some great craftmanship has gone into the making of this desk. We have dedicated Elton Chair by Torbjørn Afdal in offer. Please, ask for availability. This desk is in original vintage condition. It has been well looked after all these years, but has been used. It has some superficial scratches on the tabletop. And there are some areas that has been more exposed to light than others.
