Scandinavian vintage nightstand by Capelle, France, 1980s

Piece is in overall excellent, original condition with minor signs of age and use, consistent with time. The beautiful, blonde, wood veneer remains sleek and smooth. The smaller piece on top has a drawer lined with its original, emerald-green felt that has minor signs of age, with no tears or rips. All four compass legs, are removable and marked with a metal stamp of the company, "Capelle, Montauban." There are two stamps on the back of the piece, "82 - 121 - 077B", that could serve as an indication this particular model, could have been manufactured up until the early 80’s. Not only a great piece to use as it was intended in a bedroom, but can also work very well in a smaller living space, loft, den or living room, as a small accent, side, phone or plant table that will compliment mid-century decor.
