About this vintage design furniture
A pair of Modernist nightstands in the Bauhaus style. Outstanding timeless design. Made in the former Czechoslovakia. It was designed by Vichr and spol and made by Kovona company.
A typical example of the Bauhaus period in Central Europe. Chrome is in very good condition. Oak veneer. The stands are overall in very good Vintage condition, bears minor signs of age and using.

About the designer
Rudolf VICHR
Rudolf Vichr (1912-2001) was a Czech industrial designer known for his functional and elegant furniture creations. Born in Prague, he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he was influenced by the Bauhaus movement and modernist designs.
