France
€1,500.00
About this vintage design furniture
In 1977, Philippe Starck designed the John Ild model, the first bookcase of his career. It was subsequently published by Disform in 1982. Its name is taken from a character in a Ubik science fiction novel whose references by the designer are recurrent in his work.
The structure has two black metal tube uprights simply placed against a wall. Five black lacquered wooden shelves are supported by these.
