Set of Four Restored ArtDeco Beech Chairs by Jindrich Halabala. Maker: UP Zavody Designer: Jindřich Halabala Source: Czechia (Czechoslovakia) Period: 1930-1939 Material: Beech, Walnut New professional upholstery in fabric according to the design of the architect Josef Hofmann. Designed by Jindrich Halabala, a renowned designer credited with ushering in the mass market production of furniture in his native Czechoslovakia. Made by UP Zavody, a well-known Czechoslovakian furniture manufacturer and dealer based in Brno. This item features classic Art Deco elements. Art Deco is a style that originates from France in the early 20th century. Its furniture designs are meticulously crafted, usually using exotic woods. Pieces are typically lacquered to give off a dazzling gloss. These eloquently crafted pieces will add visual performance and posh to any interior.
