About this vintage design furniture
A solid round, large and heavy tripod dining room table that can sit up to 6-8 people. It has a wengé veneered tabletop and dark tripod legs. The tabletop is divided in three parts and placed on a three crossed legged base. The Dutch modernist designer Martin Visser created a series of table designs starting in the 1960s, of which the shown tripod construction was the starting point. With the focus on this construction, the designs were developed and executed in different forms, materials and dimensions. Good used vintage condition - The top has been restoredvarnished. It retains some visible signs of age and use - minor changes in colourtone and small repairs to veneer. The base has a lovely patina although it shows wear to the ends of the feet.
