Danish modern sofa by Arne Hovmand-Olsen 1956 for Alf. Juul Rasmussen Polstermøbelfabrik, Denmark.Vintage Danish Papa Bear style sofa, model 480, two and a half seats, in teak and oak. Original two-tone green wool upholstery. Solid oak legs and frame, solid teak arms. Beautifully curved back on this sofa. Stunning design and impressive craftsmanship. Very comfortable and elegant.This very rare model was only shown at one fair in 1956, where it received the most votes for people's choice.Amazing original condition with very few signs of use.
