About this vintage design furniture
Mado Jolain- ceramist- and René Legrand- designer, for ID. Floor lamp in hand-wrought iron, the shaft presents a game of varied twists and offers at half of the height a knot formed by two heart motifs facing each other; this shaft is flanked by a square shelf with a tray in shaded grey and stormy ceramic tiles, and a magazine holder; the base presents three double-arched feet. Circa 1960. We recreated a cylindrical lampshade in off-white cotton (Diameter: 35 cm- Height: 30 cm). Slightly loose shelf. Dimensions and weight Height : 145 cm- Width : 53 cm- Depth : 31,5 cm Height with the lampshade : 175 cm Weight : 10 kg

About the designer
Mado JOLAIN
Mado Jolain (1921-2010) was a French designer specializing in patterns for upholstery fabrics and wallpapers. She began her career in the 1940s working for brands such as Bianchini-Férier and Lauer, where she created patterns for silk and cotton fabrics.
