Scandinavian modern teak wastebasket from Servex. Beautiful wastebasket designed by Martin Åberg for Servex in 1955. The basket is in good vintage condition, traces of use consistent with age and use - see detailed pictures. Dimensions:Height:33 cm Base diameter 19.5 cm, top diameter 24.5 cm.

About the designer
Etienne-Henri MARTIN
Étienne-Henri Martin (1913-1995) was a renowned French designer and artist, best known for his work in ceramics. Born in Lyon, France, he studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris before becoming a professor at the same institution.
