About this vintage design furniture
Norwegian vintage original 1960s Hans Brattrud swivel lounge chair in rosewood and leather. This ’Scandia’ chair is completely restored and our leather expert created a fitting, new cushion and headrest in a high quality, natural tanned brown Sørensen leather. The rosewood slat bent seating is elegantly constructed and is truly eye catching. The chair has a chromed foot with swivel mechanisme that can tilled back as well and the angle of the seat can be adjusted. Seat Height: 38cm.

About the designer
Hans BRATTRUD
Hans Brattrud (1933-1987) was a Norwegian industrial designer best known for his iconic "Scandia" chair. He was born in Kristiansund, Norway, and studied at the National School of Arts and Crafts in Oslo (now the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs).
