Pair of vintage Club armchairs by Philippe Starck for the Royalton Hotel, USA 1980

A fantastic pair of club chairs designed by Philippe Starck for the Royalton Hotel in the USA around 1980. These most appealing chairs are upholstered in high quality black leather and have aluminium legs. The backrest is tilted back for a maximum seating comfort and additional style. They were made just for the hotel, and were therefore never in production This makes this set a rare find that will be a fantastic addition to the decor. The set remains in good vintage condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
