Mid-century leather chair by Demacker for Hitch Mylius

Beautifully shaped lounge chair developed by the British manufacturer Hitch Mylius. Hitch Mylius was established by designers Tristram and Hazel Mylius in 1971, creating pieces for the corporate and residential interior at their North London factory. This particular style of chair was developed by the designer Matthias Demacker in 2009. It is called the HM59a Lounge Chair and although a contemporary piece of furniture design there is a distinct retro feel to this chair that feels stylish, classic and actually pretty timeless. Finished in a stunning, buttery honey coloured leather and seated atop two low chrome sleigh legs. Please note there are some scuff marks on the leather towards the top of the chair at the back. And there are also a couple of very tiny holes at the front seat of the piece. These have all been retouched so they are barely noticeable and in very inconspicuous areas so they do not detract from the overall feel of the chair at all.
