Extendable teak dining table with butterfly extensions, 1960

Large round vintage extendable dining table in modern Scandinavian style from the 1960s. The table is made of wood with a teak finish veneer on the top and apron with blonde wood spindle shaped legs. This table has a 52 cm butterfly extension, allowing it to go from a round and unopened size of 110.5 cm to an oval size of 162.5 cm, allowing you to comfortably seat between 4 and 6 people, or more. To open the table, simply open the 2 hooks under the top, slide the top with the 2 handles under the top at the ends, open well (there is a small shift the table had to be opened many times, play time on the hinges of extensions, see photo) between and unfold the extension, then secure with the first 2 hooks and the 2 additional extensions (see photos) Please note that one of the spikes on the inside end of an extension is missing, but does not prevent the table from closing perfectly (see photo). The table is in very good original condition and vintage condition, there are of course some slight traces of use and marks of time on the legs and tray and edge of the tray, I really insisted on the details taken in photos next to a 1 cent coin for perspective (see photos). The legs are easily removable if needed. There is a stamp under one of the extensions "Hergestellt in DDR". ( Made in GDR Ex East Germany) which confirms its period of manufacture. The furniture of Eastern Europe, former Soviet block are currently very fashionable because of their minimalist style. Many designers or manufacturers of furniture at the time manufactured in the countries of the East, Yugoslavia as Halabala, George Nelson or Thonet.
