Vintage "Ie Cloud" coffee table by Kho Liang Ie for Artifort, Netherlands 1960

A very nice coffee table designed by Kho Liang Ie, manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands around 1960. This elegant table is made of high quality white lacquered plastic with a white laminated wooden top. The top’s cloud shape is the eye-catching feature that makes it a very recognizable piece of Dutch design to which it owes it’s name: “Ie Cloud” The base has a trumpet shape, creating a smooth transition towards the top and giving the table a very nice mid-century feel. The shape of the top creates multiple possibilities to optimize the use of the surface for the user(s). An innovative design that will definitely be a great addition to the decor It has the manufacturer’s tag underneath the top, as shown in photos. It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
