Vintage mahogany secretary by Robert Charroy for Mobilor, 1950

Mahogany colored desk designed by Robert Charroy for the French publisher Mobilor around 1950. Rare and ingenious, the set is composed of 3 elements superimposed and maintained between two tubular metal structures by simple compression. An upper part for the bookcase, a middle part for the secretary with a flap and a lower part for the storage with 2 magnetic doors. The secretary has a light blue Formica top and two small removable glass shelves. Good general condition, wear and patina consistent with age and use. Point out a small wood graft above the key of the flap and 2 small cracks in the Formica at the level of the lateral fixations of the flap.
