Vintage gold sunburst mirror, 1960

Magnificent sun mirror from the 60's decorated with a wood and stucco frame. A classic from the 60's, this mirror made in France is recognizable by the typical shape of its rays and its design. The frame and the spokes are made of wood and the neck of the mirror is made of stucco. The whole is gilded with gold leaf. You can see this by looking closely at the mirror. In the missing places, you can see the red plate that was used to glue the leaves. The whole is in good condition for its age. The mirror has been dismantled and cleaned and we have also replaced the bottom. Some small defects are to be noted but they do not alter the charm and the function of this beautiful mirror.
