Vintage cocktail sofa with slanted legs, 1950s

A very shapely two to three seater sofa with rounded sides. The sofa is not free-standing. The design is more reminiscent of a sphere due to the curves. It has been reupholstered and covered in recent years. The upholstery is comfortable and allows for pleasant sitting. A black silk fabric is stretched under the sofa and on the back. The sofa was made by an unknown furniture manufacturer. It is not marked. Dimensions: 78 x 175 x 70 cm (HxWxD); seat height: 40 cm; seat width: 140 cm, seat depth: 45 cm. Good to very good condition, corresponding to the age. The sofa legs have traces of footwear. The fabric is clean and in good order. 1950 to 1959 Special feature: Reupholstered a few years ago.
