"Grand Repos" vintage sofa by Guillerme and Chambron

This oak "Grand Repos" sofa deserves its title as an icon in terms of both quality and design. With a solid wood frame, the back support consists of eleven symmetrically arranged wooden spindles extending upwards. The backrest is slightly sloped for comfort, helped by the generous seat and back cushions. The two circular cushions break up the mostly straight lines of the sofa structure without distracting from it. In very good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. The sofa cushions have been recently reupholstered in a premium bouclé fabric (Lelièvre)
