Set of 6 vintage dining chairs in sanded oakwood by Fritz Hansen, Denmark 1950s

Designed in the early 50s these classic Danish chairs feature solid light oak frames and reupholstered seats in forest green fabric. Good condition with no loose joints and above all newly filled in seats. Very interesting rustic texture of the wooden frame - it has been sandblasted and then lacquered. FH - Fritz Hansen stamps on the bottom. Chairs remind of farmhouse style - a practical and casual contemporary style. It can be mixed and matched easily with other casual or rustic elements. The ladder back chair in a farmhouse style includes clean lines, and the appeal of everyday use. Simple in design yet elegant, these aren’t typically used as a standalone accent or side chairs, but are rather perfect for a full dining set, or to mix and match with other farmhouse pieces.
