Mid century GE240 cigar armchair by Hans Wegner for Getama, 1950s

An outstanding GE240 Cigar chair designed by Hans Wegner in the early 50’s. This example executed in solid Oak with contrasting Teak armrests. Unusually the chair is offered with the original cushions and the original fabric, red and black check to one side, dark grey marl to the other. We have pictured the chair with various combinations of colour available by flipping the cushions. It is very hard to find this design with the original upholstery especially in such good condition, a particularly fine example.
