Mid century lucite folding chair by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli, 1967

Original Plia chairs designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli in 1967. These folding chairs are made of Lucite in an orange-pink color with a chrome frame. They are used with signs of wear due to age but still in workable condition. The Plia folding chair is a real design Classic as it won several prices and is part of the MoMA collection as well. It’s fantastic folding mechanism makes it possible to fold the chair very flat so it can be stored easily. Each chair comes with manufacturers mark on the underside.
