Vintage highback armchair by Aksel Bender Madsen for Bovenkamp, Netherlands 1950s

A lovely highback lounge chair designed by Aksel Bender Madsen, manufactured by Bovenkamp in the Netherlands around 1950. This nice piece has the original brown fabric upholstery, with matching upholstery to the seating cushion and back pillow to create a nice harmonious style. The base is made of a beautiful combination of oak and teak wood, creating a nice warm style that fits wonderfully in any (mid-century) interior. It remains in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
