Mid century wall shelf unit String by Nils Strinning, 1950s

String shelf designed by Nils Strinning in 1949. The system consists of six metal ladders in black with ten shelves and a desk element with two drawers. The surfaces are veneered in ash. This original String shelf is much better processed and of a better quality than many wall shelves that hit the market in the 50s and 60s.
