Mid century teak sideboard model MOY by T. Robertson for Mcintosh, UK 1970s

Moy sideboard by Mcintosh in teak wood. The short version of the sought-after Dunvegan sideboard does not detract in any way from its bigger brother. The piece is constructed with three drawer units on the left and a two-door storage space on the right with a shelf in two depths for storing items of varying heights. As in its long version, the top drawer is a cutlery tray. As for its finishes, what can we say about the marvellous turning of its handles? Moreover, the legs have a height-adjustable metal base to accommodate the unit on any surface and at the same time protect the floor. The piece of furniture is in excellent condition after having been restored and finished with colourless varnish and two coats of teak oil to guarantee its impermeability and durability. Buying a Mcintosh sideboard is an investment today and we are sure it will be tomorrow. A unique piece that has stood the test of time while retaining the modernity and good looks of mid 20th century furniture.
