Pair of vintage teak chairs model 57 by Niels O. Møller for J.L. Moller Denmark 1950s

Dimensions: 56x66x80x44cm (Width x Depth x Height x Seat height) This beautiful set of Danish dining chairs designed by Niels O. Møller in the 1950s was manufactured by J.L. Møllers in Denmark. The set includes 2 arm chairs of Niels O. Møller's famous model 57, an icon of Scandinavian design, made of solid teak wood with paper cord seats. The chairs are expertly crafted and feature beautiful details such as tapered legs, curved arms and beautifully carved backs. The chairs are offered in excellent condition, the corded seats are new, the chair frames are solid, the joints have no weaknesses and each chair has the original Niels O. Moller stamp. The teak wood frames show some minor wear, but have been refinished. The overall appearance of the chair is very nice.
