Vintage table lamp by Ingo Maurer Germany 1960s

A beautiful table lamp, model "Gulp", designed by Ingo Maurer and manufactured by M Design in Germany around 1960. The piece is made of tubular metal, nicely bent into shape in a smooth and minimalist manner. The base turns into a hood that covers the top half of the bulb, but emits a bright light in several directions. A beautiful table lamp that will be a useful and stylish addition to (office) decor. The lamp is in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
