Set of four Trinidad chairs by Nanna Ditzel. Made of maple and chrome. Price £1200.00 for all four. The Trinidad range by Fredericia was designed in 1993 by Nanna Ditzel. The chair has a very distinctive fan-shaped design which has made it instantly popular in homes and commercial buildings too. Throughout the Caribbean, traces of colonial rule can be found. For example, the elaborate wooden carvings of Victorian architecture, which divide the facades of buildings into light and shadow, are called the gingerbread technique. This is the source of inspiration for Nanna Ditzel's Trinidad range.
