Vintage illuminated display case Germany 1980s

This beautiful light-filled display case, from Germany, features two cream drawers - which can be placed side by side or stacked - and an arched cream display case with two glass doors, three shelves and backlighting. The drawers offer a generous depth, making it perfect for storage, or even for placing your TV on one side while displaying all your items next to it. Also ideal for kitchen utensils or dishes. Produced in the mid-1980s by furniture manufacturers Dominanta International, based in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, which was then part of West Germany. The shape of this display case is a truly elegant nod to the Roman arch, and would fit perfectly into many types of interiors. It has obviously been repainted over the years, and perhaps a fresh coat of paint in a different shade would give it a new lease of life.
