Vintage armchair and stool by Hans Wegner for Getama 1950

The famous cigar chair and stool is designed by Hans Wegner and manufactured by Getama in Denmark in the 1950s. It is rare to find the original Ottoman. The Ottoman and the frame of the lounge chair are made of solid oak; the armrests are made of solid teak. We have replaced the cushions with high quality cold foam cushions, upholstered in a beautifully coloured fabric by Kvadrat. The fabric under the seat cushion has been renewed. The upholstery has been done with attention to detail and with respect for the original design. There is no manufacturer's logo, which was often the case at the time.
