Vintage suspension AJ Royal 370 by Arne Jacobsen, Denmark 1960

The AJ Royal lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu). The AJ Royal has a clean geometric shape and excellent lighting properties. The semi-spherical housing of the luminaire provides excellent soft light. The lamp was part of the overall design concept of the hotel. Several of the hotel's products have now become design icons. In the field of lighting, the AJ Royal lamps in particular have become world famous and are still produced today. The lamp is in very good condition, with normal signs of wear and tear in the form of small scratches and bruises. Dimensions : diameter : 37cm height: 18cm The lamp has been carefully cleaned, it is equipped with a new braided cable about 2 meters long. The cable can be changed to any length and colour. In addition, the headliner is attached to the lamp.
