Lot of 4 vintage Wilkhahn Delta 2000 black leather chairs by Delta 1968

This set of 4 Wilkhahn Delta 2000 leather armchairs of the latest generation, with leather-covered armrests, in a deep black leather shade, brushed aluminium and with black shells, is in excellent condition. The leather is flawless, the plastic shells and the aluminium feet show only minimal signs of wear and tear. One armchair shows rubbing on the corner of the armrest. The Delta 2000 model was designed in 1968 by the Delta Group. A classic from the 1960s that can be used as an office, conference or dining room chair. More than 100 years ago, the Wilkhahn company was founded by Friedrich Hahne and Christian Wilkening as a chair factory. In 1946, contacts were established with the Deutsche Werkstätten with the designers Georg Leowald and Herbert Hirche, who worked in the Bauhaus tradition. Since then, Wilkhahn has been one of the leading manufacturers of office furniture.
