Vintage Red UFO ball pendant Lamp by Luigi Colani for Massive 1960s

Red version of the popular ’UFO ball’ or ’bug eye’ lamp from the Belgian company Massive. Connected with a white rope cord for extra color. This is a true Space Age design classic from the 60s and a beautiful eye-catcher for any contemporary interior. This lamp is even more known as a lamp by the designer Luigi Colani, although Colani has nothing to do with this lamp. In the 90s someone thought (rumor is a vintage seller from the Kloosterstraat in Antwerp) that this lamp was designed by Colani and since then his name has been attached to this great Belgian Massive design. Made from ABS and acrylic plastic. Fits E27 fitting. Comes without lamp. Dimensions: diameter 29cm. height 28cm.
