Set of 4 vintage chairs by Gijs van der Sluis, Netherlands 1990

Dining chairs in black leatherette leather with black metal legs, a classic of Dutch design. Gijs van der Sluis was a mid-century Dutch furniture designer. He started his own company ''van der Sluis stalen meubelen'' (van der Sluis steel furniture) in 1950, which was active until 1990. With his company he created some of the most famous Dutch design objects of the middle of the century.
