Vintage 2-seater Baronet Sofa in rosewood by Marco Zanuso for Arflex Italy 1964

Designed in 1964 by Marco Zanuso for arflex italy. This lounge sofa specific to the baronet has a rosewood veneered multiplex frame with separate cushions in red kvadrat tone. The fabric was replaced later, for the rest the sofa is in original condition, with the original rubber-based underlay. The sofa shows visible discoloration between the two outer edges of the frame. One of the outer edges retains its original colour, probably because it has been placed next to a wall and has therefore not been affected by sunlight. Apart from this discolouration, the frame is in perfect condition and shows some minor traces of use. The fabric and foam are in excellent condition, as is the rubber underlay.
