Vintage Daybed Svanette Sofa, Teak and Charcoal Fabric,Ingmar Relling 1960

2-seater sofa in anthracite fabric and teak box. This sofa with a secondary sleeping function, known as a daybed, was designed around 1960 by Ingmar Relling and published in Norway by Ekornes Svane until the mid 1970s. Under the mattress is a compartment for storing sheets and blankets. Once the teak box is opened, in bed position, the sofa reaches a length of 190 cm. It was completely renovated by a cabinetmaker and re-upholstered in the spring of 2020 and is in exceptional condition.
