Vintage Teak Console Table 1960

Teak Console Table This minimally designed console table made from teak features brass trumpet-shaped handles, a drawer and a magazine rack. It is British made though not attributed to any particular maker or designer but is clearly influenced by the Danish furniture designers of the 1960s, the time from which it hails. Console tables are thought to be Italian or French in origin and were largely decorative furniture pieces, though they became more practical while keeping their decorative characteristics as time went on.
