Extra Large Pair Midcentury Parisian Glass Globe Ball Pendant Lights by Holophane French

Classic pair of Holophane globe lamps used throughout Paris as streetlights. These glass shades were made from high quality pressed glass with a high lead content. This lead content in conjunction with the crisp and sharp detailing of the prismatic glass affords these old Holophane lampshades a distinctive, attractive and highly effective illumination effect. These have been cleaned and rewired for internal household use (UK 240v) and each hung from 2 metres of black japanned welded chain. They are in really good condition with only a couple of very minor nibbles to the glass almost too small to mention. They are heavy, weighing in at around 25 Kilos each.
