Vintage Murano Glass Silver Blue parrot

Murano Glass Blue Cockatoo Parrot with a clear crest and black beak and eyes. These birds are spotted with silver in a striped design throughout the body in the glass, done according to the aventurine technique in the glass. The aventurine technique, which is mostly used in making Murano glass, is done by melting metal stains in the hot molten glass. The metal pieces give the finished glass image a finished metallic appearance. Original label still intact.
