Designer: Elsa & Nordahl Solheim Manufacturer: Rybo Rykken & Co Country: Norway Date: 1970s Material: Leather with Beech wood frame Maximum Dimensions: Width 68cm, Depth 83cm, Height 96cm and Seat Height 43cm Condition: Very Good with only small signs of age related use, in the form of some light scuffing to the Leather. Description: A stylish Norwegian 1970s ’Kengu’ lounge chair, designed by duo Elsa & Nordahl Solheim and manufactured by Rybo Rykken & Co. The chair is upholstered in genuine Caramel coloured Leather, with button detailing to the seat base and backrest. The whole piece is raised upon an elegant blonde bentwood Beech wood frame. The original Rykken manufacturers stamp and serial number can be found to the underside of the frame. Please note we have three of these matching chairs available, all of which can be found in separate listings. Purchased in Scandinavia, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture.

Elsa Solheim e Nordahl Solheim são dois designers noruegueses que trabalharam juntos sob o nome de Solheim Design Studio. Elsa Solheim nasceu em 1922 e morreu em 2012, enquanto Nordahl Solheim nasceu em 1919 e morreu em 2014.
