Danish Teak Tallboy Bedroom Chest of 7 Drawers by Westergaard

Westergaard Mobelfabrik. The chest is finished in Teak with a vibrant rich colour throughout, with notable detail to the fronts of the drawers. The piece features seven opening drawers, this being very uncommon for chests of this era which typically had five or six. All drawers fronts are complete with stylized inset drawer pulls, a typical of feature of pieces produced by Westergaard. The top drawer is lockable, but unfortunately no key is present. The whole piece is raised upon four turned and tapering Beech wood legs. The original Westergaard manufacturers label can still be found to the rear of the piece. Purchased in Denmark, this design classic is an original piece of Mid Century furniture. All items are for sale elsewhere, so may be removed at any time.
