Set of 4 vintage Rosewood Rungstedlund dining chairs by Ole Wanscher for PJ Denmark

Rare find to have these in rosewood, as most were made in mahogany. The rosewood ads a depth in the wood and allows for a significant aesthetic quality upgrade over mahogany. All chairs marked with the JP silver medallion and the danish export control label as well as factory label 4188 are on the back of the seat. The chairs come with different levels of wood colour tone as typical for decennia aged rosewood. With this new Kvadrat Recheck 165 upholstery these chairs are in excellent vintage condition. The material of the Kvadrat Recheck consists of 90 wool, but is reinforced by 10 nylon. The pattern is nice and quiet due to its simplicity and the choice of color compositions.
