Brown Coupé wall lamp by Joe Colombo for Oluce, Italy 1967

The Coupé wall lamp was designed by Joe Colombo for Oluce in Italy in 1967. It is an adjustable rotating metal wall lamp with a cylindrical shade that gives direct and reflected light. In 1968, the ’Coupé’ won the ”International Design Award” of the American Institute of Interior Designers in Chicago. It is part of the permanent collection at both the MoMA in New York and the ”Neue Sammlung” Museum in Munich. This lamp is still in production (black and white), however this brown one is an early version in a good condition with signs of age and use being a smaller dent and some scratches.
