Pair of vintage pendant lamps by Vilhelm Wohlert, Denmark, 1959

Vilhelm Wohlert designed the Wohlert lamp in 1959. Louis Poulsen commissioned him to design lamps for different room sizes. In addition, installation, replacement of the light source and maintenance were to be easy. Initially Wohlert was called Sattelite on the Danish market, now the international name has been changed to Wohlert after the designer name. Wohlert is suitable for lighting any room. The matt glass surface provides even and diffused light. The hole in the bottom of the luminaire gives direct light directed downwards. Lamps are still in production today. The lamps are in very good condition, minor damage to the lampshades, the pendant has light traces of patina. The cables were replaced with new ones, braided. Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, because of this they have traces of use, which can not always be seen in the pictures.
