Vintage acrylic and Carrara Marble Floor Lamp from Acciarri, 1960s

Acrylic globe floor lamp on Carrara marble base, made in the mid-1960s in Italy. The acrylic globe features a round hole in one of the two parts of the lampshade in order to be able to replace the light bulb when necessary. This lamp is made by an Italian company, Acciarri, a small company that no longer exists. Acciarri manufactured lamps for better known companies like Reggiani. When lit, the bulb seems to hover between the aluminum diffusers. Slight melting mark on the underside of the shade caused by heat, hardly visible.
