About this vintage design furniture
Danish designed armchair by Alfred Christensen. Manufactured in about 1955-60 by Slagelse Møbelfabrik. Legs and armrests of stained beech wood. Cognac leather buttons. Completely renovated by craftsman, furniture upholsterer. Original springs in the seat. Brand new padding with natural coconut mat. New upholstered in quality yellow cotton fabric.

About the designer
Alfred CHRISTENSEN
Alfred Christensen (1903-1980) was an American industrial designer best known for his work for the Knoll furniture company in the 1940s and 1950s. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
